Here is the result of some snooping I did after coming across the following paragraph in a New York Times article:
"One reason the Iraqi health workers have not seen an American adviser is that the Bush administration suddenly switched appointees. Dr. Frederick Burkle, a well-known public health specialist who is a deputy administrator at the United States Agency for International Development, was told on Monday that he would not be in charge of health in Iraq, an agency official said today. Instead, the Pentagon has chosen a retired Michigan state health official, James K. Haveman Jr"

Dr. Haveman is on the board of Directors of International Aid, a Christian Missionary Organization headed by Myles D. Fish. One of the endorsements on the page is from F.W. de Klerk. Another is Barbara Bush. Here's their website with his name on it:

International Aid was in Jordon preparing for war PRIOR to war: http://www.thehollandsentinel.net/stories/030103/new_030103003.shtml
RELIEF AGENCIES BRACE FOR 6 MILLION REFUGEES IN CASE OF WAR WITH IRAQ As the potential of war with Iraq looms larger and forces continue to mobilize, there are estimates that the refugee population could reach 6 million if fighting breaks out. In response, International Aid is readying its response to refugee camps in Jordan, says spokesman Myles Fish. "The products and services that we're going to try to provide will be healthcare-related. We're sending a whole healthcare clinic. We'll be sending pharmaceuticals, personal hygiene items and a water treatment plant that will be leaving Spring Lake, Mich., when we begin to see the flow of refugees leaving Iraq." Fish believes the refugees will come to know at least one thing about Christians. "They'll know the local indigenous church through which we are sending the aid," he says. "It's our hope that by giving these local indigenous churches the means for ministering to the refugees, that they then will have an opportunity to both demonstrate and proclaim the gospel message." This took me all of fifteen minutes. Why can't goddamn journalists just take fifteen minutes to find out who the hell they are writing about in their articles. Iraq is presently being flooded by evangelicals. Just what the Europeans kept saying...fundamentalist Christians pitted against fundamentalist Muslims.
